Because Space shuttle Endeavour lifts off on its final mission.NASA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration is responsible agency of the United States, for the nation’s civillian space program and aerospace research. NASA has launched 109 manned missions and 1091 unmanned satellites, from its founding in 1958 through 1997. Endeavour is officially on its way to the International Space Station on its STS-134 mission.
