Kareena Kapoor started her Bollywood career in the year 2000. She made her debut in J.P.Dutta's war drama Reffugee, with Abhishek Bachhan. Kareena Kapoor was initially scheduled to do her debut in Rakesh Roshan’s Kaho Na Pyaar Hai but she abandoned the project because it was a launch for his son where she had not much to do. Kareena Kapoor won the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award.
