Anarkali is a dedication from the fashion industry to one of the dance forms of ancient India. The dance is called mujra became famous in the time of Mughal rule. Legendary dancers at the castle Mughal kings danced in kings pleasure. So were the dresses worn by the dancers are known as mujra dresses that slowly came to be known as Anarkali dresses or Anarkali salwar kameez in memory of the great dancers.
