Health: India tops Maternal Mortality list: UN Report

Though India boasts of its development with a dramatic change in health care, around 1,000 women die every day for having complications during pregnancy and child birth. The maternal mortality rate is 36 times higher compared to a developed country, reported the United Nations (UN).
